The Friends of Historic Kingston Museum

FHK-Museum-pic1View exhibits that showcase Kingston history and heritage, the highlights as well as the ordinary workings of daily life that give our city its soul and unique texture. Through photographs, art works, artifacts and memorabilia, each exhibit is a “page” in the story of Kingston’s historic and cultural past. The museum features retrospectives of the work of major regional artists, presents programs by artisans and hosts lectures and book-signings by local historians and authors. Exhibits in the museum’s gallery change each year giving you reason to return again and again.

Coming to the FHK Gallery:

Anton Otto Fischer (1882-1962) Artist, Kingston, N.Y.
This new exhibit will feature 18 paintings by the artist noted for his stunning seascapes that graced dozens of covers of the “Saturday Evening Post.” Opens May 7, 1 p.m. More information to come.
