How To Get Here

From I-87 (NYS Thruway), take Exit 19 at Kingston. Follow signs to Washington Ave. Exit. Take Washington Ave to third traffic light and turn left on North Front St.; go 4 blocks, turn right on Fair St.; at first light, turn right on Main St. The Fred J. Johnston Museum and Friends of Historic Kingston Museum are on the corner of Main and Wall Sts. opposite the Old Dutch Church. From the east side of the Hudson River, take the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge and follow Rt. 209 south to Kingston exit. Take Rt. 28 east to Washington Avenue. Proceed on Washington Ave. as above. Parking is available behind the Ulster County Courthouse, 285 Wall St, just north of our two museums on the right.
